St. Paul Post Office Offers Collectible Envelopes Honoring Republican National Convention

Three St. Paul Post Offices will offer to the public a beautiful souvenir commemorative envelope in celebration of the Republican National Convention (RNC), set for Sept. 1-4 at the Xcel Energy Center.

The colorful envelope features a beautiful cachet image of downtown St. Paul. The American flag is depicted waving in the background. The envelope has a special pictorial postmark on the Minnesota Statehood commemorative stamp.

The attractive envelopes, priced at $5 each, will be available for retail sale at three St. Paul Post Office locations only. These locations include the Uptown Station at 408 St. Peter St. (Hamm Building), the St. Paul Main Post Office at 180 E. Kellogg Blvd., and the Twin Cities Air Mail Center at 5001 Northwest Dr. Uptown Station will be canceling for each day, while envelopes at the Main Office and Air Mail Center will bear the Sept. 1 postmark.

The envelopes are also available by mail order for $5 each. To order by mail, write a check or money order only — payable to Postmaster — for the total number of envelopes ordered and include a return address. Send to:
