United States Postal Service recruiting temporary jobs

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Post Office is seeking immediate temporary carriers to work in the Baltimore and surrounding counties. Carriers can earn $19.26 per hour.

These are temporary jobs that can last up to 360 days per year. Applicants are required to have a valid state driver’s license for the state of your residence, with at least 2 years of documented driving experience.

Carriers are required to deliver mail in all types of weather conditions.

To apply for this position, you must obtain a complete driving transcript from the department of Motor Vehicle. A 36-month transcript will not be accepted. Interested applicants can apply for this position by mailing complete driver’s transcript to Transitional Carrier Position, 900 E Fayette Street RM 300,
Baltimore, MD 21233-9425.

Driving transcripts will be accepted until 12/1/07.

Minimum age is 18 or high school graduate. Drug, medical and criminal background checks will be conducted.
