Staying relevant in a rapidly changing business environment is key to the future success of the Postal Service. Leveraging the accessibility and convenience of the Internet is one of the ways the Postal Service is achieving this goal. Successful partnerships with internet-based companies, like eBay and Netflix, and the alternate access that usps.com provides, help make the Postal Service more viable. Paying for postage through Click-N-Ship and schedule a free Package Pickup are two ways the Postal is making services, quick, easy and convenient.
The Postal Customer Council is a network of community-based business mailers and representatives of the U.S. Postal Service, who gather regularly to discuss and resolve local mailing issues. On both the national and local levels, Postal Customer Councils work to continually improve service and communications.
All businesses are invited to attend the PCC Day event. Online registrations at www.baltmorepcc.com. For more information, contact Yvette Singh at (410) 347-4493. More details on PCCs and National PCC Day can be found at www.usps.com/nationalpcc.
