DETAILS:      
Local resident and nationally acclaimed artist Tom Engeman will be available to sign a limited number of copies of the special cachet. The Forever Stamp art features a computer-generated image of the Liberty Bell that was provided by
Engeman. His previous projects for the Postal Service include stamped cards for Carlsbad Caverns National Park (2002), Ohio University (2003), and Columbia University (2003), as well as the 2003 American Eagle definitive stamp, and the National World War II Memorial stamp issued in 2004

The Forever Stamp was dedicated on April 12, 2007, in Philadelphia, PA., next to  the patriotic icon it depicts — the Liberty Bell.

The Postal Service offers pictorial cancellations to commemorate local events celebrated in communities throughout the nation.  There is no charge for the postmark.  Customers wishing to obtain the pictorial postmark cancellation by mail should affix stamps to envelopes of their choice; address the envelopes to themselves and place them in larger envelope address to: Brunswick Postmaster Joni Britner, 315 Brunswick St., Brunswick, MD 21716-9998.
