Catonsville Delivers
BALTIMORE, MD — Catonsville Carrier Annex recently took top honors for “Best of the best” EAS-21 and below office. Manager Tod Lunceford explains that there is a philosophy that helped the office earn an 83.3% Delivery Point Sequencing (DPS) score, save 228 hours over same period last year (SPLY) and establish a carrier office efficiency of 74.8 as measured by per cent to standard.
“At Catonsville we try to keep things upbeat and on a positive level,” Lunceford said. “We share all goals and objectives with employees and they respond to them in a positive way. They want to provide the best service to the Catonsville area they can.”
The nine districts in the Capital Metro Area select two offices each with the best performance for the week. The data is submitted to Headquarters for review. There are two categories — EAS 21 and below and EAS 22 and above offices. Based on the data submitted to Headquarters, a selection for the “Best of the best” offices is announced each week.
