International shipping focus of USPS seminar

The U.S. Postal Service will conduct a seminar on international shipping on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the Carroll Room (second floor) of Smith College Campus Center, 100 Elm St., Northampton.

The seminar will cover choosing the right shipping product for mailers’ needs based on time, price and destination; how to get free eco-friendly USPS packaging; finding and completing online Customs forms; tracking international shipments online, and purchasing insurance for shipments.

Stephen G. Foster and Phyllis J. Bates, small business specialists for the Massachusetts Postal District, will be present to answer questions from small business owners.
