Gardner Post Office leader honored for excellence

EXCELLENCE RECOGNIZED—John P. “Jack” Dowd, right, officer in charge of Gardner Post Office, was presented with a plaque for the overall excellence demonstrated by his office in all phases of postal operations in Fiscal Year 2008. Massachusetts Postal District Manager John W. “Mike” Powers III made the presentation when senior postal leaders from Massachusetts District met for their quarterly meeting Oct. 29 in the Boxborough Woods Holiday Inn, Boxborough.
