Lowell Post Office plans ‘eBay Day’ in Lowell Senior Center
LOWELL—Are you considering starting up your own Internet business by selling merchandise online?
Well, the U.S. Postal Service will help make it is easier for you to get started by hosting an eBay Day on Monday, Oct. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway St.
The Postal Service offers these seminars as a preferred shipper on eBay and the presentation covers the basics of buying and selling on eBay.
In 2003, the Postal Service and eBay began a partnership that offers eBay shippers a convenient way for both buyers and sellers to estimate shipping costs, request carrier pickup, print shipping labels, and pay for postage online.
In 2005, the Postal Service and eBay created a two-to-three hour seminar on how to buy, sell and ship on eBay and postal service representatives have been giving these seminars around the nation since early 2005.
