Winchester Post Office honors Olympian silver medalist

SPECIAL SALUTE—Winchester Town Moderator John Sullivan unveils the U.S. Postal Service’s Olympics commemorative postage stamp featuring a female gymnast while hometown hero Alicia Sacramone, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, with the United States women’s gymnastics team, and Postmaster William H. Dunn look on. Several thousand people lined the parade route and town common to welcome home their Olympian during a celebration Monday, Aug. 25.
