Local Postal Employees Honored for Military Service

In preparation for Veterans Day, military veterans at the Annshire Annex of the Louisville Post Office will be honored during a ceremony on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at 8 a.m.  Kentuckiana District Manager Chris Christenbury and Louisville Postmaster Steve Gregory will acknowledge more than 50 letter carriers and clerks who served in the armed forces, and thank them for their continued service to this Nation. The Male High School ROTC will present the colors. Retired United States Marine Corps Lt. Col. Benjamin D. Gipe is guest speaker.
