Corinth Post Office currently closed

Storm damage makes building uninhabitable

The building housing the Corinth, Kentucky Post Office (41010) has been declared uninhabitable by Grant County Building Inspector Terry Conrad.  Space in the building at 212 Main Street in Corinth is leased by the Postal Service.

There will be no interruption in service to customers who receive delivery at their homes.  Postal officials have arranged for space to accommodate over 250 Post Office boxholders within the Corinth City Hall.

Until boxes have been installed, Post Office box customers may call for their mail at the Williamstown Post Office, 205 North Main Street in Williamstown 41097.  The phone number for the Williamstown Post Office is 859.823.0868.

Customers receiving notices to call for mail requiring signatures or packages must retrieve their mail at the Williamstown Post Office at this time.  More information will be shared as it becomes available.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
