BLOOMINGTON -- The local post office will offer two free classes Aug. 17 to help customers learn more about the services available at the Postal Service’s award-winning web site, www.usps.com. “Millions of consumers and businesses are doing the smart thing and taking advantage of usps.com’s fantastic array of services,” said Bloomington Postmaster Jim Mennel.

“For example, in less time than it takes to brew a pot of coffee, customers can use usps.com and do an array of things. This includes to creating shipping labels and pay for postage, find ZIP Codes, calculate postage, find a Post Office, schedule a pick up, track and confirm delivery of Express Mail or Priority Mail, buy stamps, design and personalize greeting cards, order shipping supplies, and more.”

All of these things can be done from a home or office computer.

On-line services like Carrier pick up, Click-N-Ship, NetPost Card Store, Premium Postcards, Mailing on Line, Internet Change of Address, The Postal Store and the Postal Locator – make it possible – and all are just a click away.
