Story lines:
Consumer: More time-saving ideas for harried consumers interested in spending more holiday time with friends and family..

Log on and Step Inside a Post Office: The Internet is always open, and so is the U.S. Postal Service. Postal Service employees will be on-hand to demonstrate USPS' online suite of services including cyber tours of CardStore, an online product that allows customers to create, address and mail holiday cards. See the latest innovations available to make mailing holiday greetings and presents quick, easy and convenient.

The Knitting Revolution: Knitting is enjoying a surge of popularity among the young and hip. There is a very active knitting blog community and many yarn stores are as much social scenes as they are commodity shops.

Today’s Holidays Need Today’s Mail: This year, the Postal Service is giving customers something they can really use. More time. From flat-rate boxes and free package pickup to environmentally friendly packaging and military Care Kits, the Postal Service plans on helping make the holidays a little brighter.

It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars.
