U.S. Postal Service Knits New Stamps for the Holidays

Stamp Unveiling Ceremony at the Geneva History Center

The U.S. Postal Service in partnership with the Geneva Wool and Company store will unveil the new Holiday Knits 41-cent commemorative postage stamps.

Background:
The four stamps featuring classic wintertime imagery were designed and machine-knitted by nationally known illustrator Nancy Stahl who designed and machine-knitted four stamps featuring classic Christmastime imagery. There’s a dignified stag, a snow-dappled evergreen tree, a perky snowman sporting a top hat and a whimsical teddy bear, each sure to add an extra touch of warmth to seasonal correspondence. The Holiday Knits 41-cent commemorative postage stamps went on sale nationwide on October 25.
