Eagle Post Office invites customers to 'eBay Days' mailing demonstrations June 21, 2007

The Eagle Post Office invites current and interested eBay users to join them for a free "eBay Days" informational mailing session on June 21, 2007. The event will be held in the Eagle Public Library at 100 N Stierman Way from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Customers and media are invited to attend.

There will be live eBay registrations and demonstrations, Click-N-Ship registrations and demonstrations, as well as information provided on using other convenient postal services.

Postal representatives will give details on how to buy, sell and ship easily on eBay with the Postal Service. Instruction and hands-on experience will be given on how to print mailing labels with postage at no extra charge, and how to request free package pickups without ever leaving your home or office.

There are more than 125 million registered eBay users. Many of them already use the U.S. Postal Service and the mail for their everyday eBay shipping needs.

The Postal Service began a partnership with eBay in 2003. In 2004, the Postal Service and eBay launched an integrated mailing program. This program allows buyers and sellers to calculate postage, print labels with paid postage, pay for insurance and request free carrier pickup from the convenience of their 'My eBay' web page.

"Whether you are now a regular eBay user or just interested in finding more about how to use the Postal Service to mail much more efficiently and conveniently, our eBay event will be of great benefit to all our area postal customers," said Marcus Spigner, Eagle Postmaster.

"We invite everyone to stop by. It should be very informative and a lot of fun."
