Miami’s Snapper Creek Post Office To Host Passport Fair on Saturday, August 23

Miami FL—It’s time to stop thinking about a tropical storm and start dreaming about a tropical vacation.  Make the first stop of your journey a trip to the Post Office.  The Postal Service is hosting a Passport Fair at the Snapper Creek Post Office, 11000 SW 104 Street  in Miami, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 23.  You’ll want to be prepared so please review the requirements below:

$75 — Age 16 and older

$20 — Age 16 and older

Proof of Citizenship:

  • Certified U.S. Birth Certificate
  • Naturalization Certificate
  • Certificate of Citizenship
  • Previous U.S. Passport (mutilated, altered, or damaged passports are not acceptable as evidence of U.S. citizenship.)

Identification (current, valid)

  • Driver's license
  • Government ID: city, state or federal
  • Military ID: military and dependents

You’ll need to apply in person if you are applying for a U.S. passport:

  • for the first time;
  • if your expired U.S. passport is not in your possession; 
  • if your previous U.S. passport has expired and was issued more than 15 years ago;
  • if your previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16;
  • if your currently valid U.S. passport has been lost or stolen.

Additional Information:

  • ALL applicants, including minors, must be present.
  • MINORS 16 and UNDER must appear in person with both parents or legal guardians.
