Postal Service to Host Evening Passport Fair At the Fort Lauderdale Main Post Office
Fort Lauderdale FL— There’s no need to sit in traffic tonight when you can start your journey to your vacation dreamland. On Wednesday, August 20, the Postal Service is hosting its first evening Passport Fair for the convenience of its customers at the Fort Lauderdale Main Post Office, 1900 West Oakland Park Blvd. Passport applications will be accepted at this location from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Proof of Citizenship:
- Certified U.S. Birth Certificate
- Naturalization Certificate
- Certificate of Citizenship
- Previous U.S. Passport (mutilated, altered, or damaged passports are not acceptable as evidence of U.S. citizenship.)
Identification (current, valid)
- Driver's license
- Government ID: city, state or federal
- Military ID: military and dependents
You’ll need to apply in person if you are applying for a U.S. passport:
- for the first time;
- if your expired U.S. passport is not in your possession;
- if your previous U.S. passport has expired and was issued more than 15 years ago;
- if your previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16;
- if your currently valid U.S. passport has been lost or stolen.
Additional Information:
- ALL applicants, including minors, must be present.
- MINORS 16 and UNDER must appear in person with both parents or legal guardians.
