Little League Sectionals will have mobile Post Office

Winter Garden — With the Little League playoffs in full swing the Winter Garden Post Office is heading to Walker Field located at 420 S Park Ave to help fans celebrate. A mobile Post Office will set up on Friday, July 18 from 6pm - 8pm and Saturday, July 19 from 9am - 4pm where baseball fans will have the opportunity to purchase the new "Take me out to the Ball Game" commemorative stamp, baseball framed art and other collectibles.  There will also be a variety of basic postage for sale. “We are excited to be a part of the Little League playoffs,” said George Shock, Winter Garden Postmaster. “It is a fun atmosphere and we are looking forward to being a part of it with a special “Take me out to the Ballgame” stamp.”

Winter Garden Little League is hosting the District 14 Sectional playoffs Friday July 18th thru Sunday July 20th.  After winning District playoffs, Sectionals are the next step on the road to the Little League World series.  Winners of the sectional move on to State and then Regional playoffs.  This sectional will feature All Star teams age 10 - 12, Jr. All Stars 13 - 14, and Sr. All Stars 15 - 16.  Come out and support the Winter Garden Little League and salute the all American tradition of stamp collecting by purchasing your “Take me out to the Ball Game” commemorative stamp.
