Bob Slama Has Left The Building

Fort Myers, Cape Coral Fl —Bob Slama has been on his Southeast Cape Coral mail route for 27 years reporting as scheduled every day to serve his customers.  At age 84 Bob is proud of the fact that he has never called in sick a day of his career, he never even clocked in late.  Bob clocked out for the last time Wednesday July 9th with a total of 35 years as a Postal Service letter carrier.  Prior to joining the Postal Service Bob worked for the New York City Police Department for 21 years.  At his retirement recognition Bob stated, "I am lucky to have worked for the best police department in America and the best postal service in the world".
