Mail Your Packages In Your Neighborhood
Fort Myers / Cape Coral, Fl. — We are bringing the Post Office to you! Well, almost; it’s the next best thing. Postmaster Anne Murray is bringing a mobile unit to the community that can be brought to your location — for either a one time event or on a regular basis. The best news is that this mobile unit is a “full service Post Office on wheels” and can handle any postal transaction you have, from a simple purchase of stamps to purchasing money orders, sending certified or registered mail, mailing and insuring packages, filling out change of address forms, etc.
The new mobile unit will be in the Gateway community every Wednesday between 10 a.m. and noon at the 7-11 on Gateway Blvd, 12011 Gateway Blvd.
The mobile unit will move to the CVS store on the corner of Fiddlesticks Blvd and Daniels Rd, 9170 Daniels Pkwy for service to this community every Wednesday from 2 pm to 4 pm.
On Thursdays the mobile unit will be in Cape Coral at Walgreens, corner of Chiquita Blvd and Cape Coral Pkwy, 1534 Cape Coral Pkwy W from noon to 4 pm. The mobile will be at this location every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm
The Post Office is seeking locations where the mobile unit can be utilized to assist customers in obtaining the postal services they need on an occasional or permanent basis. Communities and areas without easy access to a Post Office are invited to contact Robin Shaw at 239-277-3347 to schedule the mobile unit. Arrangements can be made for either morning or afternoon time frames. The unit can be scheduled for special events, either on weekdays or weekends.
