Ft Lauderdale MO to Host Mini Health Fair On Diabetes Awareness on November 28

November is National Diabetes Month.

On Wednesday, November 28, Broward Health Community Health Services representatives will be in the lobby of the Fort Lauderdale Main Office at 1900 West Oakland Park Boulevard between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Health representatives will share information on diabetes, a disease in which your blood glucose, or sugar, levels are too high.  Some people have no symptoms, but a blood test can show if you have diabetes.  Free screenings and blood pressure checks will be available.

Health representatives also will share healthy eating tips, discuss advancements in diabetes treatment, and advise how to avoid complications of this disease.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation, 146 million homes and businesses, six days a week. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
