Breast Cancer Research Stamp

Learn About Early Detection at Ft Lauderdale Post Office

On Thursday, October 11, 2007, the U.S. Postal Service will re-dedicate the Breast Cancer Research Stamp in the lobby of the Fort Lauderdale Main Office, 1900 West Oakland Park Blvd.  Fort Lauderdale Postmaster Rick Suarez will be the dedicating official at the 11:00 AM ceremony.

In addition to the Breast Cancer Research Stamp dedication, representatives from the following organizations will be in the lobby between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM:

  • Sandra Blank, Executive Director, Florida Breast Cancer Resource Network
  • William Forbes and Elzbieta Krystyna Pileszczak, Broward County Main Library
  • Trivel C. McKire, Program Manager, and Nicole Morris, Program Assistant, Breast & Cervical Cancer Initiative, Broward County Health Department
  • Astrid Perovanovic, Representative, Outreach Broward Health
