Hallandale Postmaster to Take Oath of Office Sept 25

Hallandale Postmaster Hal J. Paldrmann will be sworn into office on Tuesday, September 25.  He will take the Oath of Office at 9:15 AM at the Hallandale Post Office at 500 S Federal Highway in Hallandale.

In his new position, Paldrmann is administratively responsible for 92 postal employees who are dedicated and committed to providing outstanding service to business and residential customers at 28,904 delivery points in Hallandale.

“I’m very proud of our employees at the Hallandale Post Office.  We understand the important role that we play in the community, and working together as a team, we’ll continue to provide outstanding service to our Hallandale customers,” said Paldrmann. 

Paldrmann’s 31-year postal career began in Punta Gorda, Florida.  In 1976, he was a rural letter carrier, then a year later, transferred to city letter carrier, and in 1979, became a clerk.  In 1982, Paldrmann entered the managerial ranks with his promotion to Supervisor, Delivery and Collection.  Then in 1988, his promotion to Manager, Mail Processing led to his relocation in Boca Raton.  He joined the South Florida District Postal Family in 1992 as Manager, Customer Services at the Oakland Park and Southside Post Offices.  Paldrmann’s previous position was Route Examination Team Leader for the South Florida District.

Throughout his career, Paldrmann has accepted special assignments.  Most recently, he served as Officer-In-Charge in Miami Beach. The Southeast Area Office also recognized Paldrmann’s outstanding leadership skills with a special assignment to the Gulf Coast to coordinate postal recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina.

Paldrmann was born in Chelsea, MA.  He has a son, Nathan; daughter, Heidi; son-in-law, Shane; grandson, Vincent; and stepson, David.  His wife, Tina, is the Postmaster in Dania.
