Fort Lauderdale, FL —Want to skip a trip to the Post Office?
On Friday and Saturday, June 29-30, the Postal Service’s South Florida Business Development Team is promoting usps.com — one of the most popular websites in the world with more than one million visits per day — at the “Creating Keepsakes” Convention underway at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/ Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. Small business owners who are attending the convention are encouraged to learn more about usps.com and postal products and services from postal officials at the booth in the Vendor Fair.
“The Postal Service and scrapbookers have a lot in common,” said Dania Postmaster Tina Paldrmann in opening remarks. “Memories are important to all of us, and the Postal Service treasures the mail with the same trust, respect, and care that are given to special memories preserved in scrapbooking.”
Postal customers can save time and money by skipping a trip to the Post Office and logging on to usps.com. It’s quick, easy, and convenient and may be used to conduct most business transactions as in face-to-face retail transactions at the local Post Office. Customers may buy postage, order supplies, ship and track packages, create shipping labels and pay for postage, find a ZIP Code, schedule a carrier pick-up, and change a mailing address — all without leaving their homes or offices.
The Postal Service website, usps.com, is available to meet the needs of all customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
