Miami-Dade PCC Invites Local Businesses To Postal Mailing Seminar on June 29

Miami, FL —The Miami-Dade Postal Customer Council invites members of the South Florida business community to register for a mailing seminar that will address two key topics: Intelligent Mail and Postal One.

The seminar is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 29, in the Miami Postmaster’s Conference Room (#535) at 2200 NW 72 Avenue in Miami. Seating is limited.

“Intelligent Mail” is the smart way for customers to do business. It’s the centerpiece of technology and includes a standardized intelligent barcode for each mail piece. As the mail travels through the postal processing network, the individual mail piece is scanned at key points. Intelligent Mail technology enables business customers to virtually “see” their mail pieces at every step. Intelligent Mail enables business customers to better plan their promotions and process their payments.

The second part of the seminar is Postal One which makes it easier than ever for businesses of all sizes to use the power of business mail. With the availability of online tools, it electronically links a business with its mail supply chain and the U.S. Postal Service. Businesses will save time and money with the reduction of paperwork with electronic postage statements and verification.

Businesses also will appreciate the accessibility of their mailing transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For more information, customers are encouraged to visit www.miamipcc.com and click on the “Education” link located left of the Welcome Page. Customers may register and pay the $10 fee online with a credit card, mail a check, or fax their information. Checks should be made payable to Miami-Dade County PCC and be mailed to:
