USPS Invites Business Mailers to Register
For National Postal Customer Council Day

Miami FL—The South Florida business community won’t want to miss National Postal Customer Council Day on Wednesday, September 16. It’s the premier Fall event for the mailing industry, and business mailers across the country will gather in more than 150 sites.

In South Florida, come join the mailing industry for a comprehensive day of Intelligent Mail education and earn a certificate from “Intelligent Mail University” on National PCC Day.

The Miami-Dade County Postal Customer Council (PCC) invites South Florida business customers to register for its local National PCC Day event. The United Auto Insurance Group will host this year’s event in its auditorium at 1313 NW 167 Street in Miami Gardens. The $25 registration fee includes the day’s activities: a satellite broadcast message from the Postmaster General, live presentation from a featured speaker, Intelligent Mail educational classes, and lunch. Register and pay online at www.miamipcc.com.

Pritha Mehra, U.S. Postal Service Vice President, Business Mail Entry and Payment Technologies, will be the featured speaker. Listen to her presentation on the Intelligent Mail barcode which will revolutionize the U.S. Postal Service. The Intelligent Mail barcode, or IMb, provides continuous mail tracking and real-time feedback on mailpieces. As mailpieces travel through the postal network, this technology enables business customers to “see” their mail at every step --- from Post Office arrival to processing to transportation to delivery.

It’s critical for your businesses to stay informed of the latest U.S. Postal Service requirements and to know exactly what resources are available to assist your best return on investment. Come and talk with postal experts from the Business Service Network Operation, Sales Team, and Customer Relations personnel.
