Denver Post Office offers collectible envelopes honoring Democratic National Convention

DENVER, CO — The Denver Post Office is now offering to the public a beautiful souvenir commemorative envelope in celebration of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), to be held Aug. 25-28, 2008 in the Mile High City.
The colorful envelopes feature beautiful cachet images of the downtown Denver skyline shown either during the day or night. The Colorado state flag is depicted waving in the background. The envelopes have a special pictorial postmark. Also featured are the logos for the City of Denver and the DNC along with the words: “Denver, The Mile High City, Convention Station, Denver, CO 80204.” Each envelope includes a stamp of the Stars and Stripes.
The envelopes are available to everyone by mail order priced at $10 for each envelope. To order by mail, write a check or money order only — payable to Postmaster — for the total amount of envelopes you wish. (No limit on amount of envelopes ordered.) Specify whether you want the day or night Denver skyline for the envelopes, and include your return address. Mail to:

The attractive envelopes, priced at $10 each, will also be available for retail sale at five Denver Post Office locations only. These locations include the downtown Denver Main Post Office at 951 20th St. (20th and Curtis), the downtown Denver Merchant Station Post Office on the 16th Street Mall at 535 16th Street near Welton, and the downtown Denver Mile High Station Post Office at 450 W. 14th St. in the Denver Justice Center Building. The envelopes will also be available at the Denver Finance Station Post Office at 7500 East 53rd Place, and at the DIA Rocky Mountain Station Post Office located on the 6th floor, main terminal at Denver International Airport.
