‘Stamp-Up’ When You ‘Gas-Up’ At Valero

Antioch, CA —Customers who ‘gas-up’ at Valero Gas Station, 2700 Hillcrest Avenue, in Antioch can now fill-up with postage and other postal services.

To increase convenience and access to postal services, a new Contract Postal Unit (CPU) will open Monday, July 28, 2008, providing a full line of postal products and services, including postage stamps, Express Mail® service, Priority Mail® service, special services, packaging products, and much more!  The Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., and Saturday, 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. hours of operation provide convenient access six days a week.

You won’t need a GPS device to find the Post Office counter at Valero. Customers will easily recognize the presence of the Postal Service at the new contract location by the exterior and interior signage, as well as the new product display.

The Postal Service™ has re-engineered the entire CPU program to better provide the needs of Postal Service customers nationwide.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
