Rose Clarke To Be Sworn In As The Round Mountain Postmaster

Round Mountain, CA — Rose Clarke will be sworn in as the new Round Mountain Postmaster on Friday, July 25, 2008, 11:00a.m., at the Round Mountain Post Office, 29620 Highway 299 East.

Clarke, 49, began her career with the United States Postal Service in 1999 as a clerk at the Fortuna Post Office. In 2002, Clarke was promoted to Postmaster of Bridgeville and then selected as the Douglas City Postmaster in 2007.

“I believe it is an honor and a privilege to be a postmaster,” said Clarke. “My goal is to create a positive environment and to serve my customers with efficiency and a smile.”

Clarke resides in Redding and has one son, Joshua, 26.

As Round Mountain Postmaster, Clarke delivers mail to 516 Post Office boxes, serving a population of 3,500

Manager, Post Office Operations Richard Burtzlaff will administer the oath of office.
