Andreé Sauls Selected as the New Poway Postmaster
SAN DIEGO — San Diego District Manager John E. Platt selected Andreé Sauls as the new postmaster of Poway. He will be sworn in to his postmaster job on Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at the Poway Post Office, 13308 Midland Rd.
Sauls has nearly 21 years in the Postal Service. He began his career in 1987 as a letter carrier at the National City Post Office. In 1995, he was promoted to customer service supervisor at the Ramona Post Office. He became Rancho Santa Fe postmaster in 2006.
Sauls’ temporary assignments include officer-in-charge at Rancho Santa Fe, Ramona, Bonsall, Solana Beach, Valley Center and National City Post Offices.
Over the past 7 years, he earned 5 Special Achievement Awards, 2 Mystery Shopper Awards and was recognized with a “Best in Class” award for level 20 offices.
The Poway Post Office has 39 carrier routes that make 17,953 possible deliveries. There are 1,494 P.O. Boxes and 67 employees.
