New Camp Fire Affects Mail Delivery

Oroville, CA — This morning’s new Camp fire prevented access to many roads resulting in 335 Postal deliveries that could not be made to the Concow and Yankee Hill communities. The affected addresses make up an entire Rural Route whose main streets include the following:

Concow Road
Auroele Way
State Highway 70
Windermere Way
Camelot Lane
Nelson Bar Road

Residents with proper ID can pick up their mail at the Oroville Post Office, 1735 Robinson Street.

Customers are advised to call the Oroville Post Office at 530-533-4620 should they have any questions.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
