Santa Rosa Main Post Office to Expand Retail Hours
Open Later to Better Serve Customers
SANTA ROSA Calif. — The Santa Rosa Main Post Office, 730 2nd St., is expanding the lobby retail hours to make it more accessible for customers to buy stamps and ship packages. Starting Monday, July 7, the retail windows will be open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no change to Saturday hours, which are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
"Extending the retail hours makes using the Postal Service much more convenient for our customers," said Santa Rosa Postmaster Irma Zine. "We're working to better meet our customers' shipping and mailing needs."
Expanding the hours of operation is one way of adding a level of convenience to the many ways customers can access Postal Service products. Zine said, "Many services available at the Post Office are also available on line at usps.com." Customers can buy stamps, use Click-N-Ship to print their own mailing labels, pay for postage and confirm delivery. Customers can even beat the high cost of fuel by requesting a package pick up at their home or office at no extra charge.
For complete information on Postal Service products and mailing services, or to find the hours and location of their local Post Office, customers should visit USPS.com or call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777).
