Jeffrey R. Crane is Selected as the New Lemon Grove Postmaster

SAN DIEGO —Jeff Crane will be sworn in as Lemon Grove’s new postmaster on Friday, June 27 at 10 am. The Lemon Grove Post Office is located at 7938 Broadway.

After a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, Crane joined the Postal Service in 1995 as a letter carrier at the Imperial Beach Post Office. In 1997, he graduated from the Associate Supervisor Program and was quickly promoted to customer services supervisor at the Encinitas Post Office.

In 2002, Crane moved on to El Cajon as a supervisor and in 2005, arrived in Lemon Grove.

His temporary assignments include customer services manager at the Cardiff Post Office and officer-in-charge at the Del Mar and Lemon Grove Post Offices.

Crane has a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering and master’s in management.

The Lemon Grove Post Office has 19 carrier routes that make 9,496 possible deliveries. There are 1,502 P.O. Boxes and 43 employees.
