Public Meetings Concerning the Possible Consolidations of the
Bernal and McLaren Postal Stations Postponed

SAN FRANCISCO — The public meetings concerning the possible consolidations of the Bernal Heights and McLaren Postal Stations, scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2009 and Oct. 21., 2009 respectively have been postponed pending further analysis. No rescheduled date has been set for either meeting.

The U.S. Postal Service is reviewing station and branch operations throughout the nation and is focusing on areas where it has a number of Post Offices in close proximity. The Bernal Heights Station, 189 Tiffany St., and the McLaren Postal Station, 2755 San Bruno Ave., San Francisco are among the offices currently being reviewed for possible consolidation.
