Queen Creek Post Office invites customers to grand opening event
A grand opening celebration for the new Queen Creek Post Office location at 22424 S. Ellsworth Loop is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, Postmaster Chris Bisdnack announced today.
Town officials and Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce members will be on hand at 11 a.m. to cut the ceremonial ribbon for the facility, which opened to customers on Oct. 13. The public is invited to attend.
The new Post Office has more than 1,700 Post Office boxes, 42 customer parking spaces and is home base for letter carriers serving 50 delivery routes in the Queen Creek area. A total of 80 employees work at the facility.
Door prizes will include a set of matted Disney stamp art designs, suitable for framing. Refreshments will be available immediately after the ribbon cutting ceremony.
In addition, customers can learn about the Postal Service’s Click-N-Ship online mailing services and Dinero Seguro international money transfer services at information tables from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
