AZ Business Mailers Expo offers ‘Route to Postal Efficiency,’
Wednesday, Sept. 16, at The Phoenician
PHOENIX—Seminars on everything from effective advertising mail design and use of the Intelligent Mail Barcode to creative use of social media to increase product visibility will be offered to attendees at this year’s Arizona Business Mailers Expo, presented by the Phoenix Postal Customer Council.
The Expo will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at The Phoenician Resort, 6000 E. Camelback Rd. in Scottsdale. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

In addition to a selection of five seminars, the event will feature keynotes from U.S. Postal Service Manager, Direct Mail, Rod DeVar and award-winning stand-up comedian and business executive Mary Feeley.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in National Postal Customer Council (PCC) Day by viewing a live satellite feed from New York City with the latest national news regarding business mail innovations and the state of the Postal Service, hosted by Postmaster General John Potter.
Finally, a vendors’ hall displaying the latest in mail processing technology and services will be on site, along with the chance to win great prizes. Some exhibitor space is still available at the Expo; contact Jim Frey at 602-437-1311 for information.
The Phoenix Postal Customer Council is one of more than 200 such community groups nationwide, made up of local businesses and USPS leaders who work together to improve mail service and exchange ideas to help member companies be more successful.
