SILOAM SPRINGS, AR — To increase convenience and access to postal services, a new BiLingual Contract Postal Unit opens Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Latino Blankets.  This is the first Postal Contract Unit in Siloam Springs that will provide service to both our English and Spanish speaking customers.

A full line of postal products and services are available at the new contract postal unit including postage stamps, Express and Priority mail service, special services, and much more!  Postal customers may also deposit letter and parcel mail at the contract unit.  The location and hours of operation to provide convenient access are:

Latino Blankets
200 S Britt St.
Siloam Spring, AR 72761-3202
479-524-4444
Monday-Friday, 9 am - 7 pm

The contract postal unit also has a new look.   “Customers will easily recognize the presence of Postal services at new contract locations by the exterior and interior signage, as well as the new retail counter configuration and product display,” says Jim Mayes, Postmaster of Siloam Springs.  The Postal Service has re-engineered the entire contract postal unit program to better answer the needs of postal customers nation-wide.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
