Pictorial Cancellation available on July 4, 2008

Background:
The Portia Post Office will be providing a pictorial cancellation commemorating the 103rd Annual Portia Picnic, and with the purchase of First class postage, you can obtain a special keepsake.

Stamped envelopes, postcards and First-class postage stamps will be available at the site of the pictorial cancellation. All postage must be affixed to an envelope or sheet of paper in order to receive the special cancellation.

After July 4, 2006, the cancellation will only be obtainable by mail and must be postmarked by August 4, 2008. Mail-in requests addressed to the Portia Postmaster must include a self addressed stamp envelope for the return of the pictorial cancellation.
