Postal Service Ready for Christmas Day Delivery

Sending Packages by Express Mail Assures on Time Arrival

Little Rock, AR — While many Americans will be spending this weekend finishing last-minute holiday errands, the elves at the Postal Service will also be busy making deliveries up to and even on Christmas Day.

That’s right, only Santa and the Postal Service will cheerfully deliver those last-minute packages to family, friends and acquaintances. And there’s no extra charge when using Express Mail. Just one fixed price to major markets in the United States — guaranteed — if you drop off your packages or have them picked up by Saturday, Dec. 22.

“So fit in that last-minute sale or wrap that last-minute gift. It’s okay,” said Jeff Taylor, Arkansas District Manager. “Express Mail is the only overnight service that delivers 365 days a year.”

Other companies might say they deliver, but not with a guarantee and not with the flat price the Postal Service offers on Express Mail. USPS Express Mail has no hidden fees or surcharges — and includes insurance up to $100 against loss or damage. Signature proof of delivery upon request plus tracking information also is available.

It gets even better:  the free packaging is environmentally friendly and you can schedule a free pickup in the privacy of your own home by going to usps.com. What can be easier than that?

This holiday tip is brought to you by the U.S. Postal Service.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation, 146 million homes and businesses, six days a week. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
