Postal Service names Arkansas executives

LITTLE ROCK — The U.S. Postal Service has named Jeffrey A. Taylor as District Manager and Tony B. Keeton as Senior Plant Manager to lead its Arkansas operations.

Taylor, began his career as a city letter carrier in Alabama, and has held various management positions throughout his 20-year career. Most recently, he has been the Senior Plant Manager, at the Little Rock Processing and Distribution Center.

Prior to this assignment, Taylor served as the Operations Programs Support function for both the Oklahoma and Lancaster, Pennsylvania districts. He has served as Acting Postmaster, Knoxville, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas. Jeff has worked with Headquarters Employee Development as a subject matter expert for city delivery, rural delivery and for Postmaster training course development.

Taylor received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and continued post-graduate work in Management at UAB, the University of Oklahoma and DeSales University in Allentown Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the USPS Advanced Leadership Program as well as the Plant Manager Development program.

Jeff and his wife, Angie, have a son, Matt, who is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Maryland.

Keeton has 22 years of career Postal service with an extensive background in mail processing operations. He began his career as a mail handler in Dallas in January 1985.

Keeton has served in several supervisory positions at the North Texas Processing and Distribution Center and as Manager, Distribution Operation at the USPS International Service Center in Dallas. His most recent assignment was Senior Manager Distribution Operations in the Dallas Processing Center.

He is a graduate of the Plant Manager Development Program and is working toward graduation from the USPS Advanced Leadership Program.

Keeton and his wife, Debra, have three children.
