Conditions of Use

1. Purpose and Availability of Stamp Images
   
   Stamp images, any other images, and text (herein “Images”) are provided in the Image Download Center strictly and exclusively for news organizations to reproduce and display — in accordance with the prescribed conditions — for the sole purpose of reporting news stories directly related to the Postal Service’s issuance of stamps, stamp-related products, and other stamp-related news. Any other use is strictly prohibited and unauthorized. The Postal Service takes the unauthorized use of its intellectual property extremely seriously and will take appropriate legal action to stop, and seek compensation for, any and all such unauthorized use.
2. Permission Given Only to News Organizations
   
   In accordance with paragraph 1, the Postal Service grants permission only to news organizations to download the Images from the Center and only for reproduction and display for the purpose stated above under the following conditions:
   
   1. A stamp Image must be displayed in full color (if the publication is in color) and must be reproduced in its entirety without any additions or deletions.
   2. If the stamp Image is reproduced within 75-150% of actual size, the denomination must be cancelled. A line may be drawn through the denomination to indicate cancellation.
   3. The following language must be printed underneath or within close proximity of the Image, and in any event it must be placed in an area that is readily visible to any viewer: © 2007 USPS. All Rights Reserved.
3. Do Not Change Any Technology Accompanying the Images
   
   Images on this site may be marked or tagged — either visibly or invisibly. Any attempt to disable these protective devices is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, unless authorized by the Postal Service in writing, no one shall:
   
   1. Violate the Image Download Center’s mechanical restrictions or circumvent other mechanisms used to block or restrict access to the Center and its contents.
   2. Copy, redirect, or exploit the Center or any of its contents.
   3. Take any action to interfere with the proper functioning of the Center.
4. User Acknowledgments
   
   By accessing this Image Download Center, the user acknowledges that:
   
   1. All rights in the Images remain the property of the Postal Service or its licensors.
   2. The user must and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as these Conditions of Use.
   3. The Postal Service reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revoke authorization to view, download and use the contents of the Center at any time and for any reason, and that the user shall immediately discontinue such use upon notice from the Postal Service or otherwise learning of the revocation of the authorization.

• PC Users: To download an image, right click on the desired link and choose “Save Target As.” Browse to the desired location.
• Mac Users: Press Control + Click or Click and hold and “Save Link As” or “Download Image to Disk.” Browse to the desired location.
