Audio News Release: Postmaster General joins President Bush for signing of new postal legislation into law.
Today the U.S. Postal Service will deliver more than 900 million pieces of mail, making it the busiest delivery day of the year. Congress and President Bush also have been busy, creating and signing into law a bill that will allow the Postal Service to be more competitive in the market place while providing more predictable price increases for its consumers. Postmaster General John Potter joined the President today for the bill signing ceremony in Washington. POTTER SOUNDBITE: THIS NEW LAW IS ALL ABOUT THE FUTURE.
