USPS TO TEST DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM AT TRENTON PLANT

The Postal Service will begin a limited test at the Trenton Processing and 
Distribution Center in Hamilton Township NJ on Saturday, October 11 to evaluate 
the decontamination system.

The test, which will take approximately 4 hours, will allow the Postal Service to 
assess the ability of the delivery system to sustain the required level of 
chlorine dioxide gas throughout the building.  Chlorine dioxide gas will be used 
to decontaminate the building during the fumigation process.

The Postal Service anticipates having results in the latter part of next week.

The Postal Service continues to work with state, federal and local agencies toward 
decontamination of the facility.
