Among thousands of signed Cancer Promises that Armstrong will deliver in the nation's capital on October 18 will be those promises pledged via USPS Premium Postcards - with more still to be collected. Cancer Promises are individual pledges designed to raise widespread support of cancer research. "Using the Postal Service's Premium Postcards, you can send 'promise' postcards to family and friends asking them to sign the Cancer Promise," said USPS Chief Marketing Officer Anita Bizzotto. "The signed Cancer Promises that Lance will deliver will help renew America's commitment to find a cure for cancer and demonstrate the hope we all have in cancer research," she added. Participants can sign Cancer Promises from their homes and offices through the Tour of Hope website at http://www.tourofhope.org. When participants have signed the Cancer Promise, they can use Premium Postcards to send the word to up to six friends and family members. The cost is $6 for six cards, including postage.
