United States Postal Service

Postal Business Center
Atlanta District

The role of the Business Customer Relations staff is to provide world class service to our district managed accounts, using Customer Perfect guidelines.  By utilizing the Business Service Network to resolve customer concerns, the Account Representatives can spend more time maintaining revenue within their account base, and growing revenue as additional sales opportunities are uncovered.  The BCR staff also has the responsibility for maintaining current profiles on their assigned accounts and providing the Southeast Area office with reports and information on revenue gains and losses within our managed accounts.

The Atlanta District Postal Business Center is responsible for providing service assistance to all National and Premiere accounts in our delivery area.  We also provide FIM and Bar-codes to printers, and offer diskette conversions to customers whose address files are computerized.

Coding Accuracy Support System

The diskette conversion program is called Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS).   The USPS developed CASS to determine the percentage of addresses that are correct, including the ZIP + 4 code.

Business mailers that submit automation compatible mail for discounts must first pass the CASS certification test of the USPS.  The CASS test will assure that the mail is coded to the finest level of ZIP + 4.
